The outright opinion on the tragic death of afour-year-old  Mahi  in Haryana State in an unprotected borewell  should serve you as an eye-opener.  Itreflects how slack you are  where safetyaspects  of human lives matter.  Despite the Supreme Court’s  order in the year 2009 to place safety precautionsin the “To Do List” of priorities, the authorities seem to have got it in oneear only to be out the other.  Accidentsdo happen most of which are preventable if a few fundamentals are strictlyfollowed.  Given the number of accidentaldeaths in the recent past elsewhere, the cost of dying seems cheaper than costof living.  Who do you point your fingerat to this state of affairs?  The answeris sins of omission, to say the least.
