Reference to Ministers, personal staff to declare assets

Host of challenges ahead the Chief Minister Oommen Chandy occupies a hot seat of a beginner’s luck. If what he preaches is anything to go by, there is a good deal of reason in what he says. He seems to have no qualms about his ability to put all those into practice and thereby make mincemeat of all his opponents’ arguments. Being an acid test it’s incumbent upon the UDF to ensure a government that Abraham Lincoln aptly put it “a government of the people, by the people, for the people”. In the wake of shocking discoveries of corruption scams in the country it is important anyone who have a tendency towards itching palm must be prosecuted to the fullest limits of the law, and there are absolutely no exceptions, no matter who he/she is. What the people starving for is a clean government with rule of law strictly enforced.

Don’t dictate terms.

Don’t dictate terms.
Does democracy mean liberty to indifference? True, the UPA government has been discredited by corruption and black money stashed away abroad. While Anna Hazare is extremely discreet. Baba Ramdev minds little of his p’s and q’s in his expression against the government. I see his threats to bring down the government to his knees as just a smokescreen for his other activities he reportedly to have been involved. When the government is in a serious mood to bring all those having an itching palm the long arm of the law, Ramdev’s rebellious attitude is unwarranted. Perhaps he doesn’t realize he is fouling his own nest. How can you dictate terms when a democratically elected government is equally serious about corruption?
